About Us

We are Robin Hood Playgroup – part of Holy Trinity Primary School. We are a preschool for 2-4 year olds, situated in the beautiful Sussex village of Cuckfield, striving to give children the best start in life.

Our Story

Robin Hood Preschool (formerly Cuckfield Preschool Playgroup) was established in 1969 and moved to its present site, Cuckfield Village Hall, in 1990. We have a dedicated team of staff who provide the best in childcare and early learning experiences for our children.

“My little one joined the pre-school this September and I was a little apprehensive as she’s had to settle into many different surroundings for various reasons (change of job, etc etc) but I couldn’t be happier with how she’s settled into the pre-school.
Every session she is there I get updates on what she’s up to in the daytime. She’s warmed to all of the teachers and has made lots of new friends. The activities they have set out for them every day are brilliant and I know they do lots of outdoor play too which is great!
I’m so happy they had space to take her in and feel like they have taken time to get to know my little one, and that she’s not just a ‘number’ (which we’ve definitely experienced in the past)
